Joined AIA: July 2014
I jumped ship in 2014 as I wanted to leave my stressful IT job.
I was a referral to Rochelle by one of my friends. I received a call from her and met her for financial planning in 2009. I remember back then, when she initially invited me to join AIA and I declined. We met again in 2013 and that’s when i decided to take the exams and quit my job.
As an FSC, i enjoy the freedom of time while enjoying the earnings and travel incentives!
Rochelle as our leader has done it and it was easy to follow her footsteps. She speaks based on her actual experience. As an experienced FSC, whatever she says is believable and real. Her being positive helps a lot with every challenges in this job. She guided me until i became independent. "No problem, no choice—let's do it," these are her words that I always heed to succeed in this career and push me out of my comfort zone.
She communicates very well; approachable always. My most memorable time with her is our many phone conversations that takes 2 long hours talking about work, life and just anything…
I feel great about joining AIA! What happens next is always wonderful and unexpected. Being an FSC is not only about selling insurance. It is advising people on financial matters and preparing for the uncertainties. | | | Grace Ilagan (Client) Knew Rochelle since 1999 from my first job in the Philippines. She knows what she is doing, explains the policy very well and clearly. Accommodating to all questions. She presents plans or suggestions that meets my objective. She went beyond answering and responding my questions or concerns even brought me to hospitals for my check ups. Grateful to her!
Rochelle is very helpful when I have enquiries and claims. There is also regular policy review. I really found the products very important especially those that covers health or even pure investments.
I will always remember when she was with me in the hospital for my operation. After the operation, at the recovery room, I was already promoting my AIA hospitalization policy to friends. :) After that, Rochelle still continues to help me thru my check ups whenever she is available. | | | Jehn Magat (Associate) Job before joining AIA: Banker, Homemaker

I joined AIA as i needed a job with time flexibility and is family-oriented.
In 2010, Rochelle approached my husband during their roadshow. My family bought policies from her. And in 2015 during our policy review, she shared about being an FSC. Just nice, it fits my needs & situation at that time.
I really love the time flexibility, the positive culture among the team leader and members. Working with our team is like finding a new set of family to depend on and share with anything and everything. Rochelle is not only a conscientous and responsible leader, she is also my mentor and confidante.
She set goals which are attainable and see us through it. She encourages us to push forward and believes in our capabilities despite setbacks and challenges.
Rochelle is a hands on leader from day 1, continuously learning and sharing with us, immersing herself in our journey as an FSC and as a team member. She walks the talk. She taught us how to work effectively as a team and then as individuals in and out of our comfort zones, constantly checking and guiding us and she make sure our overall status is good.
She always set things on a positive note. If there are difficult times, she makes sure we see the positive aspect of it. She makes us feel welcome to see and chat with her in office or over the phone and also listens to our ideas and suggestions. I will always remember the time i told here that I already achieved what I thought was impossible, thanks to her guidance and motivation!
At first, I only thought of joining AIA as a trial since I stopped working for 10 years when I became a mom, I’m now 7 years in the business and intends to stay for more years. As a FSC, we don’t sell insurance, we educate and protect people, their families, their wealth and health. | | | Cattleya Reyes (Associate) Job before joining AIA: Associate Scientist
Joined AIA: July 2011
Rochelle & I are friends way back in university. I was her very first client when she joined AIA back in 2009. After 2 years, I saw significant changes in her and that’s when I became interested to be an FSC like her. I called her in 2011 and here we are in the same business for more than 10 years already!
This job enables me to help clients to make informed decision. It is challenging and fun - I need both to thrive.
Rochelle leads by example. This is hard to do but she does this consistently. You can see the efforts put in every project we do: from then the humbling and tiring street prospecting up to preparing fun-filled client appreciation & engagement events. She provides all of us ‘hands on training’; from filling out paper works to joint field work.
The job itself is outside of my comfort zone. Joint field work with Rochelle helped me a lot, this is the kind of training that is priceless, since it is showing and not just telling how activities are done. Being an FSC is always fun, enjoyable at times challenging too… | | | John Ventura (Client) I met Rochelle through a common friend since 2013. She possesses a deep understanding of the products I need based on the risks that I need to manage.
Rochelle always responds on time and does her best to explain everything I need to know about the products or requests that I need assistance of.
No words can describe her helpfulness to all her clients, she will go above and beyond just to help you, not only with your policies, but if in case you need help on other things.
With my AIA plans, I feel secure for my family's future. | | | Sheridan Vinluan (Client) I knew Rochelle wayback in 2013 as she was introduced by a friend who took her services as well.
One thing that I'm amazed with Rochelle is her clarity to explain and she doesn't force you to buy the product; gives you more freedom to choose which suits your needs.
She is very responsive even when its already after her working hours. I remember calling her urgently at around 1 AM and she's still very accomodating and pleasant to talk with.
AIA products are at PAR or even much more compared to others but what I really am looking for is an FSC that is present whenever you need them; the most which Rochelle is. | | | | |
